Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNO): The residents of Naid Kadal, a locality in Srinagar, are grappling with a severe water crisis and dilapidated road conditions, causing inconvenience to the locals. “The water scarcity issue in our area has been persistent. We are being deprived of pure drinking water facilities for days,” said the locals while speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). “Many households here are compelled to rely on alternative sources, such as purchasing water from private tankers,” they added. “We are tired of constantly struggling to obtain basic amenities like water. It's unfair that we have to spend our hard-earned money on purchasing water from tankers when clean water should be accessible to us at our own homes,” said Sahil, a local. Another local, Ubaid added, the condition of the roads in their area is appalling. They appealed the authorities concerned to look into the matter and redress their grievances at earliest—(KNO)
